A "GREEN" CRAFTED Mini PurseBook for
Leslie Rahye's Earth Day Bloghop

Welcome to the studio of SalonD'Arte! We are so excited to be participating in this special "Earth Day" Bloghop. The project we are sharing is very special - a mini purse book.

This is made from a recycled paper ribbon spool - transformed into this super GIRLIE mini purse. It's hand stamped and collaged with patterned paper and all gussied up with ribbons and bows to house a circular accordion mini book for messages and photos inside.

An empty paper ribbon spool beautifully transformed to a PINK and "GREEN" CRAFTED Mini Paper PurseBook. Would be so adorable with the addition of a small mirror.

ALSO - there is BLOG CANDY on this stop of the hop to be won. The prize is a set of four (4) handmade cards from my shop SalonD'Arte featuring reproductions of original artwork. TO ENTER please leave a comment and let us know about a greencrafting project you have made. If you leave your email please make sure it's spelled out {yourname at webdomain dot com}.

Thanks so much for visiting! Please scroll down to the squares below and click on them to visit all of the Go-Green Artists on the bloghop. Hope you have a wonderful Earth Day - THINK GREEN!

Amazing! I am ashamed to say that spool probably would have ended up in the trash. I will be sure to save the next one.

Adorable purse. One of my recycled projects was transforming candy boxes into tealight aquariums (http://lifeimitatesdoodles.blogspot.com/2011/12/tealight-aquarium-with-creative.html) with Creative Paperclay. lifeImitatesDoodles at gmail dot com
